Present today, besides the judges (Professor Paolo Papanti-Pelletier, President; Venerando Marano, Judge; and Carlo Bonzano, Judge), and the Associate Prosecution Lawyer, Professor Roberto Zannotti (in the absence of Professor Gian Piero Milano), were the two accuseds: Giuseppe Profiti, defended by his lawyer Antonello Blasi and Massimo Spina, defended by his lawyer Alfredo Ottaviani.
Testimonies were presented today by Gianantonio Bandera and Marco Bargellini. Today's session concluded at 8:30pm and was dedicated entirely to questioning of Massimo Spina by Professor Papanti-Pelletier and the other judges as well as the Prosecution Lawyer and the lawyers for the defence.
As indicated in the Ordinance, the next hearings will take place tomorrow - Friday 22 September 2017 beginning at 2:00pm.
